Kia Ora. Welcome.
Opiki School is a rural, full primary school that is located on the border of Horowhenua and Manawatu. We have a roll of around 134 and operate 6 classes.
Our school’s vision is to “inspire students to be the best they can be”. Kia whakamana i ngā tauira mō te eke ki ngā taumata ō rātou mahi. We are very much focused on our learners developing the skills, values and competencies that will fully equip them to fulfill our vision.
This vision is supported by our Bridge to Life which consists of; Respect, Communication, Lifelong learning, Contribution and Self-worth.
We have high expectations of all our learners to achieve well academically and offer them modern classrooms, spacious school grounds and opportunities in leadership, sport and cultural activities.
We have a hard working, professional and highly skilled staff who place learning and learner well-being at the centre of everything we do.
If you are considering enrolling at our school, please explore our website, call us or come and visit.
Below is a mini-documentary made by two of our year 8s, showing some of the fantastic learning that happens at our school.
